Right Tack's principal consultant Andrew de Boyett has worked in marketing and business development roles for over 20 years, with the last 15 years in professional services. He is one of the most experienced marketing and business development people operating in the New Zealand professional services market. He spent 8 years working for global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, based in London, focusing on business development strategy and the practical elements of winning, developing and retaining clients. Prior to Freshfields Andrew had a business development role at Berwin Leighton Paisner (a mid-size London law firm focused on the mid-market), and before that set up and ran the marketing and business development function at international quantity surveying firm Currie & Brown. Andrew started his career as a graduate trainee at New Zealand conglomerate Fletcher Challenge. He has a law degree from the University of Auckland, a post graduate Diploma in Marketing (UK), and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (the world’s leading professional marketing body). Andrew can draw upon a huge body of experience of all areas of marketing and business development and an in-depth understanding of how professional services firms work.
