Right Tack Consulting Limited is a management consultancy firm which focuses

on helping professional services firms throughout New Zealand to achieve the

most from their client development efforts - in simple terms we help firms win

more business.

We work with accountants, lawyers and other professional services firms.

Right Tack also regularly touches base with a wide range of clients of professional services firms to get their insight and feedback on what they want/expect from their advisers. We utilise that experience in our consulting and coaching work.

Right Tack believe that the vast majority of firms (and their individual partners/  principals) have clear ideas about where they want to be, but many find it challenging getting there – in terms of working out how they do it, and how to get everyone in

the organisation doing what they need to do. At the heart of our service is a focus

on providing ideas that challenge people and take them forward beyond where they     are now, and devising practical ways that will turn the 'thinking into doing' – we get firms and their people onto the right tack.

►  We work with firm leaders/management teams to help shape strategy for

maintaining and developing existing clients and acquiring new clients, and then

develop implementation plans that have real traction in a professional services

     environment.

►  We provide one-to-one coaching to partners/principals to help them meet

(and exceed) their client development objectives.

►  We provide locum/interim marketing and business development support to firms

that may be between staff or reviewing what their internal marketing and business

     development resource should be.

►  We provide advice and coaching around a number of specific areas, including

marketing/communications strategy, listening to clients, client relationship

management, targeting new clients, pitching for and winning work, and

handling difficult client issues (e.g. fees, conflicts, etc).
